In case you missed the T+O+M Talk video, here's a summary from Martin Connell on recruitment activity in the Technology space at the start of 2023. 

  • Hiring demand is behind where it was this time last year, but still seeing investment in the digital space

  • Moving to an employer-led market where expect clients to have very specific criteria to be met before extending offers

  • Also seeing a move away from contract towards permanent hiring, which will suit risk averse candidates

  • Clients are looking for candidates who have worked with and deployed in cloud using DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker or Jenkins. A certificate in AWS/Azure is a differentiator
