Katie officially joined T+O+M on Monday 26th April 2021, although she bonded with the team the previous week at the Amazing Race activity where she showed both her humorous and competitive side. 

Originally from Newcastle, UK, Katie graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in Psychology. Enjoying the consultative piece of Psychology, after moving to Sydney, she decided to start a career in Recruitment.

Katie has been recruiting in the Sydney market since 2016, recruiting IT Infrastructure, from junior level to senior technical and managerial positions. The part she most enjoys about recruitment is creating long lasting relationships with clients and candidates; understanding not only their career experience but what other factors of people’s life make up the type of role and company that suit their lifestyle.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys keeping fit and healthy, by going to the gym and running. She also enjoys going on outdoor walks and exploring new places.

If Katie could spend a year learning a new skill, it would be to: learn a new language. She would love to be able to speak Mandarin or Spanish as she would love to see as much of the world as she can and would find it useful to communicate with locals on the way
