Hailing from what he describes as “the rubbish part” of saaaaf London, Max leads T+O+M’s Audit, Risk and Compliance practice and places senior risk practitioners across Australia’s largest financial services institutions and insurance companies, based in Sydney.

With  15 years’ recruitment experience, Max prides himself on giving people a unique recruitment experience. The best compliment he can receive is to be told that he has provided someone with their best recruitment experience. A very important part of the service that Max offers his clients is to show them where they can find the best chocolate brownies in the city. He also claims to have identified the best cheesecake but this is still a point of heavy debate amongst colleagues.

Max believes the world is a massive playground and is passionate about having unacceptable amounts of fun in every way possible at every possible moment (as his T+O+M colleagues know too well). His long-term ambitions are to be a world-champion big-wave surfer, down-hill mountain biker and to captain the Welsh rugby team. He is currently the office twerking champion.

If Max could spend a year learning a new skill it would be: the patience to spend an entire year focussing on one thing.
