NSW Local Government Organisation is seeking a talented HR Manager to join its Corporate Performance division. The Role:
As the HR Team Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting managers, supervisors, and staff in delivering people-focused initiatives. Your leadership will be essential in developing the HR team’s capabilities and ensuring HR processes align with best practices and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to the HR team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and team development.
- Deliver expert advice on employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, and performance management.
- Work closely with senior management and stakeholders to drive engagement and deliver outcome-focused HR solutions.
- Oversee and implement key HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, learning and development programs, and workforce planning.
- Ensure HR policies and processes are compliant with legislative frameworks while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management with extensive experience.
- Deep knowledge of HR legislation with a demonstrated ability to implement employee relations initiatives that drive engagement and performance.
- Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills, able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Thrive on fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture, with a passion for people-focused HR solutions.
