TOM Executive are currently recruiting an exciting permanent Payroll Manager opportunity for a reputable organisation located in Bankstown (Working from home for now).
Our client are a medium sized construction based organisation with 300 employees.
This role will require the candidate to be experienced in managing payroll on their own as this will be a standalone position, managing end to end payroll processes and projects.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Payroll Manager will be managing all aspects of payroll processing and reporting. Your main responsibilities will include:
End-to-end payroll processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles
Respond efficiently to queries from internal staff and external payroll service providers.
Accurate posting of payroll transactions, including accrued leave, into the general ledger.
Drive payroll projects
Interpret EBA and awards
Contribute to payroll matters that form part of the annual and half-yearly external audit
Maintain the currency of payroll procedures documentation.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years’ relevant experience
Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation
$80,000 - $90,000 + super
