You will lead the agenda and manage the relationship between Group Data and the Business where you will work closely with GM's to help them achieve their commercial and regulatory goals.
This is a newly created role in a business division that deals extensively with customer and external market data, where its close management in-line with the frameworks you will develop are a key strategic priority.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the executive data owners in the execution of their data strategy and regulatory responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the Group’s information management policies and standards
Champion data management awareness, practices and processes for the allocated portfolio
Manage and promote data quality through implementation of appropriate metrics, monitoring and reporting mechanism
Coordinate and drive data issues prioritisation and remediation
At the core of this role sits the ability to build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders (GM’s and their leadership team) and influence their behaviour, strategy and decision making that impacts customer data. You will enjoy this level of exposure and have a voice that can be heard at the table, but you will need to know your audience and be capable of tailoring the message accordingly to achieve the desired outcome.
To be considered you will need to have prior experience in the banking industry with a strong understanding and working knowledge of data governance principles.
