A leading financial institution that’s recently undergone a multi-year tech transformation strategy, is now looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to continue their automation journey for cloud native applications.

You will be joining a company that genuinely puts its customers' best interests at the front-and-centre of everything they do. 

As a Manager within their core enterprise infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring that their Azure platform and the applications it supports, allows the organisation's operations and customer facing interactions to work seamlessly in what is an API led digital business.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 6 experienced infrastructure engineers
• Plan and execute the technology strategy and utilise vendors through SOW business cases
• Chair weekly cloud scrum meetings and manage progress to shared goals and road maps
• Design cloud security and responsible for IaC (Terraform) 
• Design, build and manage clouding landing zone and observability tools
• Evaluate new technologies, manage the cloud budget and be a “voice” of technology

To be considered for this high-profile role you will need to have a strong background in cloud infrastructure (Azure/Terraform/Kubernetes/API) and looking for a role where you can lead a team from the front, whilst managing a diverse stakeholder group across Data, Digital and Sales, alongside external parties such as the regulators (APRA).

Financial service experience is NOT essential, but you will need to have come from a business that operates a digital platform through which it manages all its customer interactions.
