We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with deep experience in enterprise data platforms and a solid understanding of regulatory environments. This is a critical role working in a key program of work, offering the opportunity to deliver on high-impact initiatives across AML, regulatory reporting, and enterprise-wide data transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across enterprise data environments including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Operational Data Stores.
- Perform data profiling, classification, and quality assessments to ensure high data integrity.
- Develop and maintain detailed data mappings and interface specifications.
- Contribute to regulatory programs such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), risk, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with data modellers to support sound data architecture and design principles.
- Leverage data management tools to ensure consistent governance and metadata practices.
Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in banking or financial services, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Proven experience in data management best practices including data quality, profiling, and documentation.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Databricks and Python.
- Understanding of data modelling fundamentals.
- Experience with any data management/governance toolset (preferred).
