Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Data Analyst on a 6-month contract (with possibility to extend) to join a high profile program of work in a leading Domestic bank, where you will have a broad audience across the business, technology, risk and finance.

As part of your role you'll work closely with stakeholders to understand and deliver the impact assessment of key projects inflight, how the business needs to adapt, and how to mitigate any undue risk to customers.

You'll be responsible for:

• Gap analysis and recommend new data flows that need to be implemented
• Business case analysis through extensive data extraction and interrogation
• Develop ETL packages and intuitive PowerBI dashboards for the business
• Integrate yourself into agile delivery squads and ensure data requirements are captured
• Review data designs and guide technology on data lifecycle management 
   

You'll play a key role in this transformation team as lead data resource when it comes to assesses the impact of programs of work on the business. What sort of background do you need to be successful in this role?:

• Strong competency with SQL and data warehousing experience
• Experience with reporting, data visualisation and storytelling insights with tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Preferably experience in Banking/ Fin Services. 
• Any exposure to Finance or Regulatory Reporting teams is highly regarded
   

This role requires someone to be in the office 4-days per week.
