T+O+M Executive are working exclusively with a large ASX-listed Manufacturing business to help hire a Senior Financial Accountant position to join the Group Finance function.
- Initial 12-month FTC with strong potential for permanency (must have perm working rights)
- CBD location
- Work closely with the Financial Accounting Manager and Financial Controller
- Salary of $150k - $160k including super
Role responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial reports and ASX reporting
- Managing the monthly general ledger reconciliation process and other month-end items
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation
- Provide accounting support to the Financial and Commercial Accounting teams.
- Support the half-year and full-year audit process
- Assist with board report preparation
- Help to drive process and system improvements to enhance the financial reporting
About you:
- CA or CPA qualified
- Big 4 or mid-tier background with 1-2 years outside accounting experience is desired
- ASX listed reporting experience is advantageous
- A go-getter with excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Technical understanding of IFRS application
