Nuwan was born in Sri Lanka and moved to Australia in 2010 to complete his Bachelor of Commerce degree. He initially worked as an accountant prior to switching to recruitment in 2020, working for large agencies before joining T+O+M's Accounting and Finance division in April 2024. He moved to Sydney from Melbourne, where he had been based for 13 years, in 2022.
Nuwan recruits junior to mid-level, CA/CPA qualified accounting professionals across Sydney and Melbourne in the Commerce and Industry space.
As an ex-accountant himself, Nuwan intrinsically knows how to match a the role requirements of a hiring manager to a candidate with relevant experience.
Professionally, Nuwan is passionate about enabling long term career strategies for both candidates and clients. Personally, family is everything for him.
